Senior Pastor

Pastor Crawford and his wife, Brenda, have been married for over 18 years and they have 3 wonderful children, Theron Jr., Charissa, and Erik.  Pastor Crawford was saved at the age of 5 years old, being led to Christ by his father. After being called to preach at age 16, he attended Bible college for 2 years at the church where he was reared. He began his fulltime ministry at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1992. He has faithfully served over the past 16 years as both Associate Pastor and in the Senior Pastor capacity in Michigan, North Carolina, and Missouri.. He came to South Haven, MI in March of 2005, having been led of the Lord to start a church in this area. On a personal note, his hobbies are reading, fishing, and spending time with his family. He is also an avid golfer. His life verse is Hebrews 11:6 “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” 

Justin LaCount

Associate Pastor

Pastor Justin and his wife, Amanda, have been married for 3 years.  They have a son, Jaydon, better known as "JJ," who just turned 1 in October.  Pastor Justin was saved when he was 6 years old while attending junior church at Juniata Baptist Church in Vassar, MI.  At the age of 16 while attending summer camp, Pastor Justin surrendered his life to God to be used in full time Christian Service; it was during his senior year of high school that he began to be burdened for young people.  It was in that same year that he felt God was calling him to be a youth pastor.  The next fall he attended Pensacola Christian College where he studied youth ministries for 2 and 1/2 years.  Pastor Justin transferred to Maranatha Baptist Bible College during his junior year of college and it is there that he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in youth ministries.  Pastor Justin and his wife have a passion to reach the next generation for Christ.  They long to see young, lost souls find the Savior and disciple them to live godly lives in an ungodly society.  For the past 4 and 1/2 years they have been working with Union Grove Baptist Church in Union Grove, WI as part of their youth leadership team.  They are excited to begin their full-time ministry here at Anchor Baptist Church.  Pastor Justin enjoys playing football, baseball, golf, soccer, writing poetry, and spending time with his family.  His favorite team is the New York Yankees.  His life verse is Phillipians 1:6, "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ."
